Configure Devices allows you to configure available printer settings such as Ink Configurations, DotA single element in the halftone printing process. In traditional halftone generation, dots vary in size to control the intensity of the printed color. In digital printing, the dot size is fixed by the print mechanism. Patterns, and Resolutions. It also allows you to manage and configure your color sampling devices.

From the Toolbar, click Configure Devices icon, and then configure Printer Capabilities or ColorThe attribute of visual experience that can be described using the dimensions of Hue, Saturation, and Brightness. Sampling Devices.

NOTE: these settings can also be modified from within a profiling workflow

Configure Printer Capabilities

Configure Printer Capabilities allows you to set your preferences for your printers.  

To set your preferences, click on the preference group you would like to set, and then select your options. The buttons on the right allow you to add, delete, edit, rename, and perform other actions. For more information see Configure Printer Capabilities.  

Configure Color Sampling Devices

Configure Color Sampling Devices allows you to control your Color Sampling Devices. Click [Manage] button to add, remove, setup, calibrate, or test a measure. For more information see Configure Color Sampling Devices.
